Marina Di Marzo: Host/Producer

From making news packages, to anchoring a radio show, to performing on stage, and even sewing costumes, one word to describe Marina di Marzo would have to be creative. Currently, she is a college junior studying broadcast journalism and theatre at the University of Maryland, College Park. There, she channels her creativity into storytelling, whether it’s a professional news package or a comedy routine for the campus stand-up troupe. Her main focus has been in radio. For the past three years, she has devoted her energies to developing and reporting for “WMUC News Radio.” This semester Marina will begin to host WMUC’s entertainment show, “Tweaking Hollywood.”

Tyler Boyle: Weather Forecaster/Reporter

Hi! I'm WMUC weather forecaster and reporter Tyler Boyle! I am a junior here at UMD double majoring in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science and Broadcast Journalism, and I love the weather. Snow, rain, hail, lightning, fog, you name it, I find it cool. When I'm not making predictions or interviewing sources for WMUC, I like to build weather balloons with the Nearspace club, run forecasting models, and of course, collect records. I am proud to be a weather nerd, providing WMUC with accurate forecasts, weather news, and simple explanations of weather events that we see every day.
